1. The Service
delivery.be is a platform that connects customers who need items delivered with local couriers in the Antwerp region of Belgium. We offer same-day delivery of small parcels and items, typically within a 2-hour delivery window, subject to courier availability.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. The information you provide must be accurate and up to date.
3. Items we deliver
We deliver legal items up to a maximum weight of 30 kg per order. You must not request delivery of:
- illegal goods, weapons, drugs, or stolen property;
- hazardous, flammable, or dangerous materials;
- live animals;
- cash, or items of exceptionally high value unless agreed in advance;
- anything that violates applicable law.
You are responsible for the contents and legality of any item you ask us to deliver.
4. Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are shown before you confirm an order and are based on distance, item size, and delivery speed. Payment is processed securely via our payment provider (Stripe). Placing an order creates a binding request for the Service at the displayed price.
5. Delivery windows and availability
Delivery times are estimates and depend on courier availability, traffic, and location. When no courier is available for immediate delivery, you may be offered the option to schedule the delivery for a later time. We aim to meet the stated delivery window but do not guarantee exact timing.
6. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel an order before a courier has picked up the item, via your account. Where an order is cancelled and you have already paid, a refund is issued to your original payment method. If we are unable to fulfil an order (for example, no courier becomes available), the order is cancelled and refunded automatically.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details and contact information.
- Ensure someone is available to hand over or receive the item where needed.
- Package items adequately for transport.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Belgian law, our liability for loss of or damage to an item is limited to the value of the item, up to a reasonable cap to be confirmed in writing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.
9. Couriers
Couriers using the platform must meet our verification requirements and comply with applicable Belgian transport, insurance, and tax rules. Additional terms apply to couriers at sign-up.
10. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights under Belgian and EU consumer protection law. Because our Service is performed promptly at your request, the standard 14-day withdrawal right may not apply once the service has begun, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be communicated, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the current version.
12. Governing law
